Hi, I’m Rachael! Our family started our adoption journey in 2013, which led us to our daughter, Eliza. Our profile book was a critical part in being matched with her wonderful mother, and I quickly realized that without my background in copywriting and graphic design, the process of creating it would have been a lot more difficult.
That’s when I got the idea to help other families create their profiles, reducing their stress in this already-stressful journey. I don't want you to have to do this alone. Your profile book should showcase what is unique and special about your family, and should communicate respect to the expectant moms who read it.
Let me help you create a book that feels authentically “you.”
How does it work?
Choose a package
You can choose from a complete done-for-you profile book, updates to your current book, or other options. Visit this page for details.
2. Submit your content
You’ll share with me the content you want in your book, including a questionnaire about your family and pictures (My background is in professional photography, so I’ll help you choose the best photos!)
3. Review and edit your design
I’ll create your book design including appropriate adoption language, modern and clean design, and a clear flow to your story. When it’s ready, you’ll get to review the design and request up to 2 rounds of changes if desired.
4. Receive your book in PDF and printed form
Your finalized profile will be sent to you digitally, and you’ll also receive two copies in the mail. You can always order additional copies at any time or print your own!
5. Present your profile book
Working through your adoption agency, you can confidently presenting your profile to expectant parents considering adoption!
6. Lord willing, bring your child home!
I’m not directly involved in this part of the process, but I love to hear about it and celebrate with you! Be sure to share your happy news with me!

FAQs
How long does the process take?
It depends on how quickly you get me your questionnaire and photos, but typically the full process takes between 4-6 weeks.
Do we need professional photos?
It’s great if you have some, but it’s not a requirement. Professional photos can be great for the cover of your book and showing your family “put-together” and beautifully matching, but we also want photos that show the “real life” version of you. It’s better to have more candids than posed images, so the expectant mom can visualize your daily life and how her child would fit into that.
How many pages are the books?
An average book is roughly 20 pages, unless your agency has specific requirements.
Do I need to write the words?
Nope, this service includes full copywriting! You just need to fill out a questionnaire about your family and I’ll take it from there.
When should I create my book?
As soon as you start your adoption journey by beginning a home study or signing up with an agency, it’s time to start on your book! You’ll want to have it ready as soon as you’re home study approved, so you can start having your profile shown to prospective birth parents.
